I have created a small sample application to provide sticky notes capabilities to Visual Studio 2008.

The UI is based on WPF and it mimics the iphone Notes application.
This sample shows many VSX assets like:
- Hosting a WPF toolwindow
- Selection events
- ProjectDocument events
- ProjectItem events
- RDT events
- Project persistence

As you probably know with Visual Studio 2008 and the new VS Shell the Visual Studio Industry Partner (VSIP) program portal was updated.
The look and feel for the site was really improved, the concept of SLK was introduced, but the really good thing is that the request of a PLK/SLK takes a couples of seconds.
After you submit the form with the information about the product, the PLK is returned. There is no need to wait a couple of days now for a new PLK!!!
