IronPython Studio is OUT!!!

The December 2007 CTP of the IronPython Studio was just released on codeplex.

IronPython Studio is a free full IDE based on the Visual Studio 2008 Shell runtime for the Python programming language. It is based on the existing IronPython example that is included in the Visual Studio SDK.

Hi Pablo,

The IronPython in Visual Studio 2008 SDK also supported web projects, but the IronPython Studio does not seem to support them. Is there any reason for this?

The reason I am asking this is I am also trying to host a custom Web application project on Visual Studio 2008 Shell and I am using the IronPython sample for reference. But I am getting an error stating that the WAP package cannot be loaded. So am I doing something wrong or we have some problem hosting WAP on VS shell?

Thanks,
- Tejas
